Okay, that was certainly a fun little distraction. Shiny Luminous got a new spell, we saw the Marble Screw again, and Akane has to make a difficutl decision....

The high points here were definitely the campy fun fight, as well as the general humour. The villains become better every episode, and so far this series has yet to disappoint.

Oh, i see. Back where she used to work she proposed a project, but it was either dienied or put on hold, and eventually she left to open the stand. Now it is actually approved, and he is here to recruit her back so she can be part of it.Thats.....actually a dilemma.

So she shot a thing out of it that apparently paralyzed the Zakenna?

It is called Luminous Heartiel Action, so i imagine we are going to get a special attack for Shiny Luminous for every Heartiel we find. Neat.

You never realize quite how big they are until they are next to the main characters.

You see? This is gimmicky stupid campy fun. Its great.

Sports equipment, huh? Lets see how this goes.

This looks so incredibly ugly and lame that it wraps right around to being awesome again.

You see, this another one of those things that i love about the fight scenes in this franchise so far. Most of the time you just have some cool, very physical, surprisingly brutal action scenes against big monsters or villains, but every now and then there will be a fight scene that is incredibly gimmicky and way more creative than is strictly neccessary for a show like this.

Like, they couldve probably saved money by just having them kick and punch the monster a bit until the explode it, like almost every episode, but here this thing shot balls out of its hands which propelled Nagisa into a wall, where she used leverage to shoot it back at the Zakenna, who then proceeded to pull out a baseball bat and hit it back at her.

I mean, its not suuuuuper creative or anything, but it is more than they couldve done, and its always nice to have a fight like this that switches things up a bit inbetween three or four serious ones.

These two are so cute together.

Ah, so the guy who came the day before , Nakao, was a former coworker of Akanes, and he looks up to her it seems. Thats cool. Wonder how this will develop.

Ah, it seems, Nagisas newfound passion of wanting to take care of the ones she loves has attracted Passion and his noble steed.

I approve of this.

She is clearly the brawn in the Honoka-Nagisa relationship.

After the show ends she will make lots of money as a famous Lacross player while Honoka uses that money to fund her mad science. Its complimentary you see.

How does that still surprise you?

Oh wow, Nagisa just said she cant cook and will just mcrowave frozen stuff (hashtag relatable), and Honoka got really intense all of a sudden.
