edit: Comet Cat will be her protector since he/she/it was the only one to show up in the original She-Ra cartoon, in Ep 91 which was another crossover with He-Man.
flea market finds: a couple of bootleg Tamagoras. a rather lovely reproduction of the mantis, which i didn't have any version of until now... and a Totally Radical t. rex!
I'm fascinated to discover that the original Tamagoras mantis did not even have any paint on its body, aside from the eyes! the yellow airbrushing on the knockoff is much more aesthetic to me.
also, almost every copy that's been sold on the English-speaking internet recently has the antennae broken off. which is no surprise - you have to bend them into your choice of a few non-beneficial positions if you want to get it into the egg. I'm just gonna be happy with this one I’ve got, and never transform it again.

Puede ser entretenido un huevo? Supongo que menos de lo que es un auto, o un avión. Eso no impidió a Mattel tratar de subirse a la moda de los Transformers en la década de los 80. Otras figuras como esta - llamadas "Meteorbs" - fueron desarrolladas por Bandai. No sé si esta es de aquélla, a la que simplemente le estamparon "Mattel", o fue hecha por la segunda, bajo licencia.
