Dalida, like Piaf, had a tragic ending; ultimately ending her own life. In her three-decade career as an actor and singer she mesmerized audiences with to her striking beauty, husky voice and ability to sing in a dozen languages. In 80s she began to work with costume designers for her stage looks rather than her usual dressmakers.
