I don't understand Metamy shippers. They don't even have chemistry, and the only reason they ship (at least for me) is that it's a dark romance, they want the Stockholm syndrome.
They don't have anything together that can remotely be shippeable. Like, he's a ROBOT. He KIDNAPPED her. What do you want me to say?
I feel like they also ship it because they want Amy to settle for lower. When we know her true love is Sonic. (I don't ship Sonamy but like, that's her crush)
They don't want to ship the original sonamy so they settle with... metamy.

I also updated Sonic's appearance in the AU, also to clarify, his eyes are yellow most of the time except for certain moments when his mind is clear of his corruption (the eyes turn green even while using the mask).
[BROKEN] Expectations.
In the Dream Land AU, Star Guardians are expected to be of kind pure hearts so they can fight the darkness is space.
But... For Meta Sonic (Meta Knight is Sonic in this AU) being corrupted right after turning into a Star Guardian bc the anger of losing his father went against every single expectation he had.
And well... since star in the story can't go back on their word he still is a Guardian, but has been rejected by his own star.
For more detail here is the little story of: "The knight betrayed by the stars"

Dream Land AU: THE SUPERSTARS
Finally finished the whole Superstar Team!
Even if the Name was a cute coincidence, actually the team only has one member who is not a star guardian: Tails.
Even so, no one in the team, not even Knuckles now, actually forbids the kit to follow them because he has shown to be more than able to follow their steps in every adventure and battles.
As Meta Sonic says, the fox skills prove him more that fitting as a Star Guardian as the rest of them even if he doesn't have the power of a star to back him up!
Also, don't forget that this AU has a reverse Sonamy
