I try really hard to keep hope, to believe that people are worthwhile. But as the days go by its getting harder to believe that this world isn't completly rotten. I see humans but barely any humanity, and frankly it is getting harder to will myself to look for it anymore

I miss the nights where I would text one of you and you could tell I was unwell. You would both be at my door within minutes. I miss driving around for hours, singing along to old songs. I miss the huge quantity of unhealthy food we would eat together after midnight. What I miss the most are those summer nights were we would lie down in the park, I'd cuddle with either one of you, sometimes even both, and just look at the stars. We would lie there talking until the wannabe cops told us to leave. I miss the nights were we acted like lovers. We knew it was just for fun, that's what made it great. There was no debate, no questioning, no complications, just pleasure and comfort. I miss feeling like I was one of the boys, like we had no boundaries between us. We were so young, so free, so timeless. Like my dad says, young and immortal right? Back then it felt like it would last forever. Today it feels like it's been forever since we saw each other I'd run outside in a heartbeat if any one if you asked.
