It's at 11,991 words and nearing the natural conclusion of the chapter. I'm hoping I can get it finished, edited, and posted tomorrow evening if I can.

A lot going on in this one TwT

As of the 25/05/25, it'll be the first anniversary of Celestial Scales!

As my second fic, it was a huge difference in comparison to Emotional Support Staff. Suddenly, I had so many new things to consider - behaviours of the merfolk, species, my own lore, expressions, etc.

It was pretty overwhelming initially, but now I do truly enjoy looking into these things. It's kinda mental to think it's nearly been a year already, and coming up to two years for ESS! I still remember posting the first chapter, already ready to abandon it because I had zero plan for anything at all.

It's been a wild ride. I intended to finish off CS by June, but due to unfortunate circumstances I haven't worked on anything in months. I do read all my comments, I try to respond to as many as I can, and they do motivate me a lot. I really do appreciate every bit of interaction on my posts.

As for the drawing, I have a lot to add, finish, polish, and Eclipse doesn't look too great, but hey! It ain't finished. I was going to add Sun and Moon, but this sketch of Eclipse has been collecting dust for two months, and another of him has since December, even back from when I had norovirus asksks-
