I appreciate a otp that doesn’t acknowledge loudly that they’re together. everyone knows Arthur doesn’t go anywhere without Merlin. everyone knows that Hannibal is obsessed with Will. everyone knows that Dean CANNOT live without Cas.

honestly Arthur could be going on any kind of mission but he’s never leaving his palace until Merlin is at his side. how the fuck did Arthur function before? I know he had maids and servants but Arthur can’t leave until Merlin is there, at his side because Arthur obviously can’t save his own life. he can’t even put on his own armor!!! imagine being a knight, it could be life or death, but you can’t leave yet because this servant who is constantly at Arthur’s side isn’t here yet. I think everyone has collectively agreed that Merlin does wonders. they know that tree didn’t just knock down randomly. I think some knights are lowkey terrified of Merlin but they trust who Arthur trusts and it can be said that Merlin has saved their asses on more than three occasions

you have to adore those ships where no one says they’re gay but it’s very clear and everyone knows that they are in love and there’s no kiss because it got cut but the most important thing is: THEY ARE IN LOVE. even if it’s not announced, having a side character say “why do you think he’s obsessed with you” in loose terms. stop with the “they’re just friends” because friends don’t look at each other as if they can’t breathe without the other. actors behind the characters and the writers say “yes they’re are in love” and then say “well if my character could choose anyone, it wouldn’t be their wife” so take that with what you will.

how Merlin stays alive is beyond me because he literally does magic out in the open and people are excusing him of everything left and right and he still remains alive!!! I don’t even think Merlin understands this either. he’s like HOW AM I ALIVE

when does everyone think Merlin and Arthur fell in love? I think they’re obviously attracted from the moment they meet but it’s when Merlin is dying and Arthur is going through death obstacles and uther to get the flower to Merlin. I asked one of my friends before but I really think it had to be early season one 🥹

my Roman Empire is when Merlin is ousted or gets close to being killed, Arthur is there to defend his man and say “yeah he’s too bloody idiotic, you have the wrong man” like he may insult Merlin but Arthur will never let his man be killed or outed for using magic and I think that’s beautiful

one episode in and Uther is being tricked and put under a spell and falls in love with a woman. thrice episode after, Arthur is being put under a spell and falling in love with a woman. they really love to put these Pendragon men under spells and trick them to fall in love with women.
