Just sketching out possible ideas for the MerImps (tails are not set in stone for one design cause it would be fun to make other styles as well). Also debating upon what sort of fabric I want to use for the fins (wings, ears, tail, etc). It may be minky, it may be a translucent fabric, not sure yet (if it were minky, the head fin would also follow suit). I’ll most likely sit down tomorrow and start the patterning process for this and prototype out some of the ideas for the MerImps (top of the body is going to be made from socks, tail is going to end up being a different type of fabric, possibly printed scale minky). BTW, the Wix are still coming, I just need to sit down and finish refining the sculpture so I can finally snag the pattern from it.
So you can kinda see what sort of fish I am basing the coloring of these two off of (and yes, just like how normal Imps can have different style horns and a wide range of colors, MerImps can be pretty much based off of ANY fish in the sea :3)
Doot Doot working on something :3
