chamomile :Β Β what is your muse likely to take away from a painful experience ?are they one to be haunted by adversity ,Β Β or to use what theyβve gone through to become stronger ?
:) you're gonna ask me that when Ira turned out the way they didβ
Ok but seriously though, from the very beginning they've clung to every bad or traumatizing thing that has happened to them and had them shape their view of the world. Despite having been raised by loving parents, having an authoritative figure use them as a tool for what they wanted to achieve after sacrificing said loving parents had started them down a path they really could never recover from for a good few decades. Early on in their life there was always an underlying distrust for anyone in a position of authority and forced their hand to be much more volatile as to not fall victim to the same ploy that their High Priestess forced them into.
Now, further along in their life they at least have made an attempt to dismantle the damage done (granted, not fully because something always manages to tip them back into the mindset of that despite them trying so hard to heal from it) and use the adversity they experienced to better the way they foster relationships. But due to the nature of what happened with them, as I said, they fall back into idolizing and vilifying people around them depending on how they approach and interact with them and one misstep from someone they'd put on a pedestal will have them spiraling if they can't make sense of why they would do such a thing to them.
tldr; they're haunted by everything that's ever happened to them, even if they don't want to be.
magnolia :Β Β describe your museβs relationship with natureΒ Β &Β Β the natural world .
As mentioned here, Ira adores nature! It was very formative in their early years to have been surrounded by nature at their temple and they always found themselves taking care of the animals on the grounds during this time. Spring is their favorite season due to how lively nature becomes with all the blooming, fruit trees beginning to flower, and all the animals emerging from the winter to wander the world again. It's also something they grew to love from their mother being tasked with pruning their temple's garden for herbs and such to create offerings and herb bundles for the congregation; the season tends to remind them of her and the work she'd taught them to do with all the plants available to them.
I think their connection to nature even carries over into their more modern presence, for example seeing as their home has so many plants and flowers through out the space, as well as manifesting in how they care for animals with much more reverence than how they care to interact with other humans.
