The taller zora hadn’t seen the other in a long time, after the last time they’d parted ways. Presently she rested by the stream, closing her eyes though listening out for anyone or anything approaching.

While the Hylians of Castle Town had been mostly driven out, the city was not so empty as it seemed. Various members of Hyrule’s monster races had taken up residence among the dilapidated buildings, and one abandoned location in particular had become something of a hot spot.

The former inn now resembled something akin to a bar, where Moblins and Lizalfos and the occasional Deku Scrub gathered over their terrible excuse for alcohol. It wasn’t a peaceful place by any means, owing to the combative nature of nearly all the beings present, but the creatures all gave their King a wide berth as he entered.

It was to be the meeting place for his... interview with a human mercenary. Ganondorf did not trust anyone enough to allow entry into his castle, and the location itself served as a decent first test, of sorts. He had little interest in the services of someone who could not hold their own against the rabble of his minions. There was a reason he had not assigned any of them to the task of hunting down the Princess—intelligence gathering was hardly their strong suit. That, and the fact that a human would be allowed entry into many places Ganondorf’s underlings were not.

It wasn’t often that the dancer ran into trouble, seeing as how she often did her best to steer clear of it. But this was one of those times when it wasn’t the case, the giant cyclops chasing behind her. Quick and agile as she was on her feet, they really weren’t made for running for extended periods of time, and she tripped over a rock, falling with a pained grunt. She panicked as she turned backwards, seeing the Hinox right behind her, lifting the giant tree into the air and about to swing it downwards. She let out a frightened scream, closing her eyes and turning away from the creature.
