Eret is a ruler of a vast kingdom that is possibly on the verge of war if she doesn't make it across the sea in time to make a peace treaty

Unfortunately their kingdom does not have a navy so he has to enlist the help of the pirate Captain Puffy to get her there safely (with the hopes that money is enough for things to not go South)

Surprisingly though, the feared pirate only has two crew members- her two sons Dream and Foolish, but she still assures the king that Foolish is somehow enough to keep the entire ship safe

And she's right, because Foolish has a secret that Eret is soon to to discover that can keep many safe

Some doodles I’ve been holding on to for my mer eternal duo au.

Foolish and Eret hang out mostly at night because Eret is light sensitive and Foolish is. yknow. an entire mer-thing. This doesn’t stop them from having fun though! Eret’ll bring new foods for Foolish to try and Foolish will show them cool stuff he’s found on the sea floor.

I’m also thinking about leaving Foolish’s tail bare as far as armor goes, since it’s difficult for him to reach by himself, and it’s been a long time since he’s had anyone to help him. I like the idea of that sort of armor being a communal thing, anyways.

A bit of info about Foolish in the tiny mer au >:)

He's a shifter mer but he only shrinks (Dream and Sapnap's sizes) instead of growing like Bad.

I still haven't decided what type of shark is he but I'll think about one soon.

He's 27 years old (for this au to make a bit of sense)

He had a mother, father and a little brother but they all died while he was with some friends.

Kraken innit au foolish shows up because he hears rumors of a place where bigger mers can coexist with each other ( I think he would be 200ft and be a Megalodon mer he doesn’t eat mers because he swore off killing mers after nearly killing a certain ship captain when he was hunting) and foolish wants a safe place to raise his kids he meets Phil when he was looking for mers for Tommy he leads foolish to Tommy not seeing Junior and Finley foolish and Tommy wrestle for awhile until foolish finally gets pinned down then Junior swims out and says to leave his papa alone and that they just wanted to find the safe place and that his dad doesn’t even eat mers because he accidentally hurt a captain named poofy, Tommy backs off realizing this guy has kids and might know puffy foolish is terrified that this kraken is going to kill his son

Thoughts?

YEEEESSSS- except Tommy is like 1000 ft dude (I think he's that big by now-) so there wouldn't even be any wrestling if Foolish is 200ft (I checked- he's like the size of a Ken doll-) so Tommy would just grab him in a tight fist so they can put him in their mouth- before Junior spins in front of his face and tells Tommy to stop- and of course he would, he's not gonna kill a kid or their dad, plus he wants to know more about what happened to Puffy awhile back...
