Hi guys !

As you may have noticed, there has been less activity on this tumblr over the last few months. So I figured it was time to tell you what’s what.

It doesn’t mean that I gave up or became too insane to operate, but that after 6 years (!!!) of posting everyday here on my own, fresh inspiration was getting more difficult to find. And rather than be unoriginal and repost things I already did or just put a new gif on it, I preferred not to post and take some distance to think it over.

I am also trying to see what interesting things I could do with the mepassistant “brand”, as I still believe it is a way to introduce people to EU politics and get them interested in it (because it is fascinating and funny, however boring it may seem at first glance). Should you find that interesting or have any ideas don’t hesitate to let me know. Input is always welcome and it’s always good to know if I’m (over)thinking about stuff for nothing or not :)

On the bright side, I am quite active on Twitter (@mepassistants) where I post directly the funny stuff you know and love on EU politics, as well as more serious threads when I see things that make me react (Brexit, lobbying, you name it). So don’t hesitate to click on the link and follow me there to get your fix on funny EU stuff. Plus, you’ll get to know more hilarious people doing EU-related things and you may learn a thing or two (so a win-win situation).

Twitter is also where I’m most easy to reach thanks to the Direct Messages, so give me a holler if you head there. My apologies to those who wrote me here on tumblr and didn’t get an answer, the notification system is not very reliable unfortunately, but I’ll be more careful from now on.

Of course, I’ll keep you posted here on how things evolve. In the meantime, follow me on Twitter or go back down memory lane (I guarantee you’ll chuckle) ;)
