i read this post on tumblr that if instead, ruben died. She would continue his experiments as a legacy.

And i have one thing to say.

NUH UH.

I see laura as a person who wouldn’t harm anyone or anything. She would probably greive him but she wouldn’t go out of her way to create STEM in the first place. I think she would grieve in a healthy way, not in the weird way ruben grieved.

It is also heavily implied that ruben had ‘incestuous’ feelings for laura. I think that is one of the main reasons that drove him to create STEM.

In my opinion, Laura wouldn’t EVER return those feelings. She sees him as her little troubled brother that does weird experiments.

On the topic of ruben’s experiments, i think she would be uncomfortable, but wouldn’t say it to ruben’s face, so he doesn’t become sad. She would internally say ‘ew’ but she would smile at ruben and tell him that it’s a great experiment.

and to whoever ships rulika (ruben x laura), err 😟 ur gross sorry man
