two figures in my life, delacour and belle, both told me because of my ties to jack and jill wouldnt want to be with me. they are right. i have been holding on to the chains that have been tying me down, i have been living such a lie that that even when i attempted to learn the guitar i still didnt feel completely free. because jack and jill were still looming in the shadows. i still would look over my shoulder to check or their approval. i still anticipated questions that would shake my foundations to the core. i would still wonder and believe that without them would be nothing as i was led to believe. yet, im just holding on to grain of sands its as if im hurling that sand unto a beach. futile. empty it makes no sense anymore. it never makes any sense anymore. it so easy to ignore them both. such mental games have taken such a toll on me personally. when i look at my hands, the chains are so loose that i can slip my hand right out. this is my chance to leave. this is my chance to live. this is my chance. i have the key to those chains yet i dont need them. ill kiss the key of naivity ill swallow the cries ill lay my hand down. there is no more need of negativity the cloak of delusion i have been wearing i can take it off now. and hang it up in their house and leave. step after step after shaky step.. into the sunshine outside.
