do you know how hard writing seven syllables about nature is?

hard. it’s hard.

writing nature poetry is a talent that I, the editor of the foredge review (come check us out btw), do not have. all these ancient chinese (seriously, just look at 山水 writing,  stuff from Meng Haoran or Li Bai) and Japanese (I’m not as familiar with these, but would love to learn more) and contemporaries like Ezra Pound (petals on a wet black bough).
