I have considered the fact that there is a possibility that everything that I’m about to say will only be like nothing but my own perspective. It may never matter to you because we all know that we all have our own different circumstances, with different ways on taking choices. But at least, this speech will more or less, serve as a reminder for the best people, a guide for the better ones, and a motivation for others that have those moments that even if they try so hard, they still get to be the worst in the end.

Desperation. FalLing. Being delayed.

Yes. Some of you may say that considering those things is not really that important because, you know, we’re the best. And for some other cases, for some that really falLed, delayed, like me, that’s it, you falL, no more no less. But regardless of who you are, what you can achieve, how great you are in your academic life, or to where group do you belong in terms of level of intelligence or achievements, the reality is we falL.

For me, it feels just like you have to endure the devastating waves of the ocean drowning you even if all you did was just accidentally drop one stone on its surface. You are lucky if you just experienced the desperation part. You are even luckier if all you have to see in your transcript of grades is a series of 3’s and not a couple of 5’s.

In any case, just forget that you falL, that you are delayed, if you are. But, embrace the truths of falLing. Fall. Always try to broaden your perspective. Be open-minded to the point that you question everything even yourself. What I learned from the first four years, and what I am still learning now, as I continue to struggle in finishing college, is that it does not matter if you are so brilliant, or if you have the highest grades, because grades isn't everything. It’s a thing that is important, but definitely not everything.

Because, get this, the real goal is really to find yourself, what you want to be. Education is a plus, it is there to make your choices of being, wider. The moment you become conscious of yourself, of what you really want to do, of what person you are going to be like, and of what you will offer to the society, all the pressure will just fade away because you have achieve that certain self. The self where there is less ego, and a more re-framed mind. So this means, all of those concepts, like being delayed, is just illusions after all.

So, please, if you really, really, really, really, really, really can’t make it, just embrace that darkness of falLing. Fall. Because somewhere, deep down there, you will learn much more, you will understand much more, you will become much, much, more.

FalLing is nothing, but a bluff. It is more of falling into some dimension or some other world where you don’t want to go because you’re scared. But we are all afraid, afraid of things that we don’t understand or haven’t felt yet.
