đ- A memory about when they first fell in love
memories meme - very closed and very late.
â - Love? Hers was a lifestyle far too risky for love. What would happen if she were to fall in love with someone and then went and gets herself impaled on the nearest lance? Can you even imagine the trauma that would bring to her supposed loved-one? Can you even imagine the pain and the heartbreak?
That was why, unlike her sisters, she'd tried to keep herself detached. They could feel the idealistic warmth of falling in love and being loved but not her. Oh, it'd be nice but it'd be too dangerous. She'd needed to keep her eyes on the prize.

Codeblue was tired. Coming off of a 18 hour long shift of surgery does that to a mech. He was doing his best to recharge and sleep all of it off when he heard ol' ferret face himself Wrench come storming into their shared pre-fab. "Ugh, get lost Wrench. Go rinse out the flag." He muttered, doing his best to ignore the other medic.
And then there was a hand on his arm dragging him up and his optics snapped open, alight and affronted, his other hand still holding his pillow to his helm. "Medix, you're a witness! He's violating the dead." he accused.
"Pull yourself together, mister." Wrench grouched as the two other medics glared at him from their respective bunks. Medix rolled his optics and handed Codeblue a cocktail glass full of engex fresh from Bertha, their makeshift still.
"Breakfast?"
Codeblue groaned, "My filtration systems were expecting leaded juice. Silly filtration system." He mused, gratefully taking the glass and tipping it back before Wrench could stop him. The engex hit him like a sock to the face and he wound up choking on a cough before he shot Medix a rather surprised and sardonic glance. "Smooth." he said sarcastically.
"This morning was a very good year." Medix countered with a smile.
"Very amusing. Blue, you're officer of the day." Wrench stated in his whiny but commanding tone.
Codeblue rolled his optics and set his half-finished glass aside so he could lay back down. "I pass, give it to somebody else."
"You're it and that's an order." Wrench shot back, using the tone he often used for when he wanted to be particularly stubborn about his position of pain in the aft. "Here's your armband and log book. And here's your belt, holster, and side-arm. There's also a sash and sword that goes with it."
"Right. In case we're attacked by the knights of cybertron." Codeblue groused.
"Or you have to do a very tall appendectomy." Medix teased.
Codeblue's tone became more firm as he glared back up at Wrench. "I will not carry a gun, Wrench. When I got into this war I had a very clear understanding with the Prime. No guns."
Wrench huffed with an affronted sound that made Codeblue sneer at him. "I'll carry your books, I'll carry a torch, I'll carry a tune, I'll carry on, carry over, carry forward, cash and carry, carry me back to ol' Helex, I'll even Hari-kari if you show me how, but I will not carry a gun!" He snapped.
Wrench grumbled but relented, taking his sidearm back, "Alright, Captain Coward." He stashed the pistol and glared back at the other two medics. "You have your orders." As he turned to leave Medix grinned and waved at him with his fingertips.
"Bye, Wrench."
The insult was implied but Wrench still turned with a pout, "That was totally uncalled for." He bit out before beating a retreat.
Codeblue rolled his optics but smiled as he got up and patted his empty side. "Emptiest holster in the galaxy."
"I think there's a new sheriff in town." Medix joked back, tapping Codeblue on the arm.
Codeblue laughed and squared his hips like in the old frontier flicks that used to play when he was just a sparkling. "That's right partner, and I'm gonna make everyone in this town do just what I want 'em to."
He paused and then snapped back to his normal self with a wide and mischievous grin, "I think I'll start with the nurses."

Redstrike's memories often came to him in his quiet moments. They surprised him with how vivid they could be when he had no intention of recalling them.
He was running through the jungles of an organic world, deep within the Quadrant-locked systems. The planet's rings lit up the night, reflecting light from that system's star and another one so close it was visible by day. The jungle itself, however, was dark. The branches of the canopy choking out the sky, large even by Cybertronian standards. Redstrike could only see it from his position in the upper canopy, hidden from above and below by plentiful and broad leaves. He may have been quite bright in coloration but red blended into shadows better than most thought. It had only taken a little mud bath to make him practically invisible.
Which was a blessing...because the pirates were persistent in their search of him. They blanketed the planet below and searched for him above with their stolen seeker squadron. Their presence was constant and irritating, never letting up enough for him to escape. He'd managed to avoid them however and had taken out large swathes of their army, but they were relentless. And they could replenish their numbers while he was just one lone mech. He was getting worn down.
He'd run out of his own rations ages ago, had taken up stealing from the pirates whenever he got the chance...which was growing less and less often. His desperation had broken him down to drinking their blood and satisfying his overheated systems with water rather than the energon and coolant he needed. He was sure his fuel system was a wreck but there was nothing for it. It was risk the degeneration of his systems and hope for freedom...or get caught.
A patrol went by beneath him, the mechs grumbling about the search. There were only five of them...easy pickings for Redstrike so long as he timed things right. And he always did. He dropped silently and took out four of them before he'd even hit the ground. The fifth one went down seconds later. He waited in the quiet until he was sure there were no more and began to raid their dead and graying forms, drinking from their wounds as he raided their subspaces. The quieting of the pain in his fuel tank led him to a moment of relief...a mistake. Because it was in that moment that something hit him from behind.
He gasped and thrashed upon the ground only to scream as a painful shock ran through his body, wrapped up and trapped in a net that clinched in tighter the more he moved, zapping him periodically if he still put up a fight. Still he fought, tangling his fangs and tail in the mesh even as Blowpipe and Darkstream loomed over him. Darkstream stepped on him and leaned, pushing him into the organic soil and bending the struts on his back.
"Finally we catch our mystery mech. You've been one hell of a pain in our afts. Wrecking our schemes, helping those damn autobots and mutants, freeing to our slaves and stealing our goods. And then you had to give us a run around down here for an entire god damn year. I should end you here and now..." He growled, getting lower with each word as he pushed more and more of his weight onto Redstrike's back and side.
Blowpipe took a silent step forward and Darkstream vented and stepped off, "Fine, yeah. He lives. For now. Grapeshot wants you as bait for your autobot friends. So I guess you're in luck." He turned to the bots waiting behind him and snarled, "Get him in stasis. Now. And I'll slaughter all of ya if you lose him now!"
Redstrike struggled and swiped and took out at least two more pirates before he was finally shut away into the dark stasis chamber and felt the forced stasis descend upon him. He wouldn't wake again until he was faced to face with Alloius for the first time since he'd stranded them both there three thousand years ago.

â - an eye-opening memory
Frisk was playing in the garden. They were young, very young, their whole world was very small and they still thought that their parents loved them more than anything.
It isnât clear to them any more. They were too young to really understand everything that was going on, but they remember picking flowers, giving them to their mother, and then pain and shouting, their mother had slapped them, calling them stupid and useless and so many other angry words. They had picked their mothers flowers, trying to give her something nice. They didnât understand at the time, why their mother was so upset, just that they hurt and she was mad and hated hated the flowers, she was so angry.
That is the time that everything really began, it was the day that Frisk realized their parents werenât as nice as they thoughtâŚ
