These words are the motto, if not the ideology, of nearly all the churches in the world.

Yours truly could give a personal anecdote, but let’s not go there, opening that can of worms. Clue: It involved some evangelical grooming in my younger years. Geez.

If the religious title of a "saint" is being used, then there is nothing secular about the event, no matter just how cultural the disguise may be.

But then, “the powers that be” insisted that I get a Wintel PC, which came preïnstalled with Windows Millennium, one of the worst operating systems in the history of operating systems, ever. It crashed all by itself in a week or two due to missing components and drivers. All the while Microsoft was making money from it.

And they had said that Apple would not survive. Oh ye of little faith. But my faith in a Microsoft OS was gone for good. And then the following happened, out of sheer vengeance. When that eventually went out of order, there was no way that I was not getting an Apple Mac. Goodbye Windows – it wasn’t that nice knowing you, after all.
