I understand wanting to control the type of muns you interact with but as our community becomes more and more exclusive, I feel we lose that communal roleplaying atmosphere. Yes, its your blog and you are free to roleplay with as many or as few muses as you’d like. However, it is sad to see new blogs crop up and be ignored because muses “already have that muse.” It discourages the new blood coming in and makes us clique-y. Its like high school all over again. We should encourage the newcomers joining our community. We should lift them up, not push them to the side. It also makes us as a whole seem very stuck up, which I am not saying is the case but it can come off like that. Its especially intimidating when there are good writers out there with their formatted threads, fancy graphics and edited promos being reblogged. Just something to think about.Â
