Hands down Unicorn death.  XD  Dragons can survive sometimes, I think.  I mean, I haven’t personally written one where the dragons survive, but I’m sure it exists out there and there need to be more dragon good guys.  Unicorns, on the other hand, are meant to be destroyed.  XD

If I was ever actually interested in Bucky, the Winter Dragon would totally be a thing though.  He’d survive in that one, and he’d make a nice pillow for both Tony and Human Steve.  There would be much angst before dragon cuddles though, especially since Tony can still feel the bond that Steve and Bucky used to have.  Due to him being an idiot, he thinks that means Steve and Bucky were meant to be together (despite there being no romance on the Bucky/Steve soul bond all together.  Tony never quite got that notion) and go completely self-sacrificial.  Neither Sam nor Peggy approve, and Pepper and Rhodey are seriously just trying to keep their idiot boss alive.  Natasha, who is still technically KGB since it’s the height of the cold war, is there to take back the asset.   She tries to kill Steve because the bloody dragon seems to think it knows Steve.

Unfortunately, Tony is still being self-sacrificial and he sees this as the perfect opportunity to exercise his death wish.  He gets in the way of said killing, nearly dies himself.  This sends the dragon berserk because yeah, the bond with Steve is still there buried under Hydra brainwashing.

Natasha skedaddles, because she’d had dealing with Tony Stark during WWII and she had never meant to kill him.  She was surprisingly rather fond of the idiot, who had saved her life during the war (she was still a child at that point, because young Natasha trained like Dottie is a thing I want more of).  One of Fury’s agents, a young archer from the States who had just started a family, finds her.  He’d been sent to kill her, but ya know, he makes a different call.  Clint takes Natasha back to his farm for a bit to meet the wife and baby while Fury pretends to grumble about strays, looks imposing, but is secretly a soft touch who is worrying about Tony and the others and now has to deal with someone else he will start caring about.  She sees a different sort of life from the one she’s been forced to live filled with death and killing, and gets accepted as family, because Natasha needs family and Clint, Fury, and Laura are going to give it to her.  

On the other side of the story, Tony’s still in critical and Steve and Bucky are on a rampage.  They’re gonna start WWIII if they aren’t stopped.  Fury sends out Natasha and Clint, the former getting a very cold reception from the Howling Commandos and Tony’s crew.  However, Wanda pull out the olive branch and they manage to subdue the dragon and knock out Steve.  

Natasha knows how to save Tony, since she had seen some of Bucky’s conditioning before.  She helps Bucky unblock the memories of his time underground and then Bucky can do just enough dragon healing to heal Tony.  There is a big battle going on while this is happening because Hydra wants Bucky back and the others are trying to protect them, but a Hydra agent still gets through.  He hurts Natasha badly as she’s trying to help Bucky concentrate past the block, which snaps Bucky back.  Bucky makes short work of the Hydra agent and Sam walks Bucky through the deeper healing for Tony and Natasha.  Sam, of course, doesn’t quite remember the whole being a dragon in a past life thing, but bits of the past are slipping through and he’s always had a bit of a knack for saving patients who should have been lost.  

Anyway, Tony wakes up with a dragon’s head on his chest and tail curled around him, because Bucky is now going to protect this idiot who his bond-brother loves, and Tony really doesn’t know what to do with More Dragons.  He’s going to have to make his mansion bigger.  Natasha is curled up against Bucky’s flank with the metal wing protecting her from anyone who wants to try to get revenge, his bond brother included.  Tony is already starting to come up with plans to make Bucky’s wing better, since he can feel how much that hurts Bucky, and he can sense the growing potential between Natasha and Bucky, though he can’t tell if it’s a romantic bond yet or a platonic one.  Either way, he’s not letting Steve continue to glare at Natasha any more, and he works with Fury to get Natasha a job at Stark Industries (under cover, because she’s really joining The Crew and going off on adventures with everyone) because Natasha Still Deserves Family.  She’s getting a big one.  

Steve takes a bit to calm down, but when he does, he can also see the potential bond between Bucky and Natasha, and actually listens when Tony says she saved him, and finally becomes good friends with Natasha in the long run.  

And all is a Happy Ending until Fury calls them all about a rampaging Unicorn that needs to be put down.  

I am not the anon, but I agree a LOT that tea place au needs to be a thing.

Like, it would be cute.  Steve working at someplace like Teavana, since they like the artsy types and he needs a job.  The pay ain’t half bad, and he’s come to like tea after trying a few herbal ones, and he starts to be really enthusiastic about all teas.  Jan dragging Tony into one because she heard antioxidants were healthy and come on, Tony, it won’t be that bad.  And he keeps coming back because the guy was hot and he actually liked the drinks, and hey, tea really isn’t that bad (though coffee is still better).  XD

Or one of the fancier tea places where they serve you a proper tea, and Tony’s working there because Stane is trying to kill him and he’s run away to keep a low profile.  Because if there’s one thing Jarvis taught him to do properly, it was to make tea.  And Steve can’t afford a place like that, but there’s a beautiful garden he likes to draw and the furniture and chairs are all antiques.  Plus the guy who works there is cute and really clever, and he’s always complaining about how he wants coffee when he works at a tea shop, and he’s very kind too, sneaking Steve a cup when he’s down and he always seems to know when Steve had to skip a meal because he didn’t have the money.  Steve doesn’t like charity, but he doesn’t know how Tony figures it out, so he’ll take the free biscuits because Tony is probably just being friendly rather than trying to make sure Steve was eating.  (Tony totally knows.)

L. Say something genuinely nice about a character who isn’t one of your faves. (Characters you’re neutral about are fair game, as are characters you merely dislike. Characters that you absolutely loathe with the fire of ten thousand suns are exempt, as there is no point in giving yourself an aneurysm over a character that you hate.)

I have... so many of these.  XD  And I’m actually pretty good at finding the good things in them. It is hard picking one though.  I’ll go with Bucky, since I’m still not all together sure on how Bucky got so meh for me considering he should push every single one of my buttons.  Like I am completely baffled on why I don’t adore him.  But there you have it.  I’m mostly neutral towards him.  I do like his loyalty to Steve, because let’s face it, I have a loyalty kink that’s a mile long.  I also like how he can keep up with Sass Master Steve.  XD  

P. Invent a random AU for any fandom (we always need more ideas).

HAHAHAHA.  This is the part I’m good at.  Writing/reading them, not so much.  But inventing them?  Yup.  That I can do.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand I’m going to go with Stony and Crusade (Babylon 5 spinoff) fusion.  Because Steve is totally that guy you get who won’t always be nice and won’t ever stop in the mission to save Earth from the deadly plague, and he’ll pull out all the stops to do it.  Tony is the technomage, because of course he is, and he keep secrets, because of course he does, including important things that Steve will get upset about (Shaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaadow Teeeeeeeeeeeeech).  Natasha is Matheson, who is really my all time favorite character of the show and a telepath and now I’m having a lot of feels imaging her in his place for a lot of things.  Hugs are needed.  So many hugs.  Sam is the doctor, who is more first response and search and rescue than a normal doctor, with Helen Cho being the normal doctor.  Because why only have one medical staff to focus on?  Clint would be the thief who pretty much tells Steve that Steve needs him.  Rhodey is the weapons tech and engineer who often gets called up by Tony for opinions on tech they find when Steve is demanding they figure out if it can be used to help the cure.  Bruce is a linguist and medical specialist they pick up along the way who really didn’t want to leave his anonymity but ended up joining anyway.  Pietro is an ace pilot, while Wanda is a Ranger who was Touched By Vorlons.  Because why not?  Vision started off as Tony’s AI, and then became a new being.  Thor is an alien who is tagging along because his world was destroyed by other shadow tech and he wishes to save Earth if he could (Asgard is totally still there, but Loki’s an ass).  Am I missing anyone?  Anyway, they’d go around in the Liberty and look for a cure for the Drahk plague while Steve gets angsty when he thinks about all the people who are dying because he didn’t find the cure fast enough.  They have five years before every single person and living thing on earth dies.

Cy: I'm trying to imagine Tony as a merman and failing. Also, if mer-Tony wanted to go up on land, he'd just invent some kind of robotic legs.

Mem: Nuh uh. You post it to the meme if you want more. I'm picturing Bruce as Scuttle now. Scuttle who tempts Tony out into the world with electronics. And then hulks out into a big, green rage sea gull when Tony's in danger. And Natasha as a deadly Flounder who puts up with Tony's shit because he's amusing. Then Coulson as Sebastian. I'm thinking Steve, Clint, Pepper, and Rhodey would all be on land.

To sum up the other ask, this is about the ‘what fic would you want me to write’ meme thing and Whizzy wanted an AU where Fish, etc.  XD  

So let me start off by saying I am so, so down with Fish crossing over into MCU.  I would also have no idea how to do it, sadly.  Like, I know the Maggia is a thing, but I’ve never really seen much with it?  If I’d actually gotten into Daredevil, I’d probably have more for you, but that show never managed to actually keep me engaged so I still haven’t finished it.  ^_^;;;  I think my biggest challenge with that would be she’s definitely a street-level villain and I don’t really know much about street-level heroes in Marvel.  Which is funny, since I’m a big Bats fan, so a lot of my DC knowledge is the opposite since Gotham City is entrenched with them.  

That said, I was considering her working with Doom.  Like, I have no idea how that’d go down, but the two of them working together would be amazing.  They’re similar in some aspects, both being careful plotters (though I think Fish is a bit more rash when pushed to the extremes at the end of the season, she definitely has that element of chessmaster too and plays the bigger picture) and used to being in charge.  Them working against each other would also be interesting.  Cause she is tough as nails, playing at being a lady on the surface while definitely being rough underneath.  So regardless of if they’re working together or working against each other, it would definitely be an interesting dynamic.  I think where they’d run into trouble is that she does take Family seriously.  She’s willing to sacrifice Family if need be, but she will be out for blood after it and she protects those she considers Hers.  Like, you see Penguin trying to have that dynamic in the show, but he ultimately fails with it, whereas Fish owns that quality and it’s completely integral to her character.

Really, Doctor Doom and Fish Mooney just need to happen.  XD

Halloween at Avengers tower

I did consider a Halloween party or masquerade sort of thing, but like, imagining Jareth Steve is kind of fun.  Like, he doesn’t want a baby or any of his subjects to be hurt.  He does kind of like singing and dancing, but he’s not very good at it.  Then  a Sarah Tony runs away from home and accidentally finds his way into the Labyrinth (’accidentally’ meaning Steve’s kind of been pining for him for a long time and Tony wanted to get away so obviously helping.  Except he doesn’t want to come off stalkerish ((too late, Steve)) and stays in his castle.  And Tony kind of wants to get away from this weird and crazy place, but also is kind of intrigued by what everyone’s telling him about this goblin king.  And at first there’s no real attraction there, because Goblins don’t sound super attractive to be honest, but Steve sounds kind and lonely and Tony is a bit lonely and not wanting to go home.  Plus the machines are kind of cool and he could really dig the city, weird or no.  

Then he meets Steve and is like... Why did no one tell him the Goblin King was hot?  And wore tight pants?
