Check out my unconventional method for playing DS games on my TV lol. The horizontal side-by-side method was not doing it for me.
CHECK IT BITCHES!!!!!!!!! YEAHHHH
got back into playing emulated games and can you believe DraStic got taken off the play store? end of an era. but i got MelonDS and it seems to be opensource and nice so it wasnt hard to make a switch. im still pissy over losing my My World, My Way game progress but what can you do. i could never figure out skins for DraStic but MelonDS's way of handling it is way more easier. i got some random skins that were made for Delta (apple equivalent of the DS emulator) and im honestly really darn pleased
havent set up the last one and dont think i will. i like hello kitty and all but im starting to tire of seeing her everywhere lol. if anyones got some cozy reccs for the ds do tell!
i love proudly displaying my emulators on my taskbar (this is not all of them)

If y'all want something to do this holiday season instead of hanging out with family, consider setting up some cool dual screen emulation with the new MelonDS update.
So, recently, I’ve been playing some of my childhood Nintendo DS games via melonDS, and while most of the controls are fine, I forgot that DS games often required you to blow on the mic to do stuff. So here I am, Playing LEGO Indiana Jones, and I have to “blow on mic” to put out a touch in order to progress to the next level. Turns out, melonDS links your computer mic and the DS mic. On M1 iMacs, there are mics on the top of device, towards the center. So basically, every time I need to blow out a torch in this game, I have give my iMac head rubs. Wtf.
How the frick do they expect a CHILD to get past the Grimer encounter in the sewers in Pokemon Ranger when an ADULT can't even get past it?! The Muks, they're not very much of a problem. The REAL problem is the freakin' Grimer! Its gunk trail lingers WAY too long, and the Muks are almost always moving towards it, and even when they're not, the Grimer is almost always moving towards the Muks, and when you combine that with the infuriating fact that the gunk trails of Muks and Grimers will damage your styler if the Capture Line touches them, and capture is nigh impossible!
