What are your thoughts/opinions on Melon’s dad?
On one hand I do get where he's coming from... on the other hand my desire to punch him in his stupid face until he drops that infuriating smile is unmatched.
Listen, leaving a relationship is one thing. People do that sometimes, and honestly you can't blame someone if it just didn't work out. But actually walking out on your girlfriend and newborn hybrid kid, because she loved you too much? Because people were staring? What did he expect when he first got together with her? And what exactly did he do for her to believe she ate him? Like fuck, that man completely broke this woman and thereby his son, and now he has the audacity 24 years later to just be like "oh, i figured i should talk to my son now"
Like honey it's too late for that. And he doesn't even feel bad for what he's done, he refuses to accept any guilt.
There are characters I like, there are characters I dislike, and then there's Melon's dad. I would not have felt bad if he'd died. Partially I hope he visits Melon in prison, but at the same time Melon deserves better.
