I try to be productive, I really do… but Monday is basically me vs. my to-do list in an endless staring contest. After the weekend, switching back into work mode feels impossible—so instead, it’s admin work, catching up on emails, and pretending I have my life together. (Spoiler: I don’t.)
Honestly, the best I can do is sip my hot chocolate (with caffeine supplement) and ease into the chaos. If you’re also struggling with Monday motivation, you’re not alone! How do you get through the Monday slump? 👀

Week 2: Mellow Monday
Walk around your neighborhood. You may even bring your dog with you.
From time to time, it is nice to take a walk around the neighborhood. You may even bring your dog with you to enjoy the fresh air. I assure you that this activity helps you feel good. You and your dog will surely enjoy it. I myself had fun just walking around. It made me feel calm and less anxious because I went out of my room. The surroundings outside helped me appreciate the life we are facing as of the moment – that no matter how dark it is right now there is still beauty and light in it. However, it is upon us to see the light in the dark.
Mellow Monday
Make a list of 3 things you're grateful for.
At the end of the day, reflect on things that happened. Write down 3 things that you are grateful for today. It does not matter how small or big that thing is, just write it down. Acknowledge the good things and learn from the bad one’s lessons. This simple activity promotes a sense of gratitude and appreciation which are vital for a healthy and happy life.

Meditate and just rest.
Let yourself breathe. The week has just begun and putting too much pressure on yourself will not help you accomplish tasks that need to be done within the week. Don’t think of a lot of things. It is okay to meditate and rest. Be optimistic and believe in yourself. You will get through this week!
