I just got back from seeing Divergent too! And...I feel like your opinion is exactly what I feel about that movie. I felt nothing for the characters. *sigh*
Yeah...it made me sad because they hit, like, all the plot points that were so big in the book but like half of them weren't as effective or impactful because you didn't have any attachment to the characters.
