You are a novice! You’re trying sewing, crochet, or another craft for the very first time. We’ll start right from the very beginning. You may have never done this before, you may have done it a school or maybe you’ve taught yourself and there are a few annoying things going wrong.
Sewing Basics For Beginners Course

✄ -  for students who have completed the Sewing Basics
You will be expected to know how to use a sewing machine and while you may not have threaded our machines before, you’ll be able to give it a go and have the teacher check your threading. You may not have made a garment before. A course with the one scissor icon will introduce only a couple of new skills and the item made will have only a couple of pattern pieces.

You will be expected to know how to use a machine. You may have made a couple of simple garments like an a line skirt or PJ pants. You may have learnt from You Tube videos or books and you’ve made items that you wear - but you don’t speak the lingo.

You have made several items, you understand basic pattern markings (grainlines, notches, darts) and you are familiar with sewing lingo. You should have inserted a zip, created a buttonhole and know how to sew darts. You want to step up your skills and try making something that will be a challenge for you - but with the confidence of a teacher guiding you through the steps.
