THE DRESS COLLECTIVE'S LATEST ARRIVAL: DR STRANGE FROM MELBOURNE

We are super excited to welcome Dr Strange to The Dress Collective fashion family! Hailing from Melbourne, designer Rachael Lee Perks describes her label as 'Wearables for Weirdos', creating pop-fantasy, cosplay-inspired collections for men and women.

She's a badass rag-trader and self-diagnosed 'weirdo', and Rachael Lee Perks isn't afraid of telling the world about it. Starting in a Frankenstein-esque manner in a Northcote garage, Dr Strange has now become, much to Rachael's elation, an overnight success.

Rachael calls her followers 'The Strangelings', all of whom believe in bringing clothing back to homemade originals with an emphasis on supporting and celebrating LOCAL people and products! Keeping with the grass-roots vibe, Dr Strange sources and produces fabrics through local vendors as needed, focussing on short runs of products and limited editions to avoid mass produced garbage. It also means that Dr Strange customers get some rad originals that can’t be found at any generic outlet! Handmade in the 'Strange Lab' by 'THE DOC', each piece is also screen or digitally printed by local Northside companies.

Dr Strange revolves around easy street-wear and active clothing for both genders, playing around with quirky, tongue in cheek, kitschy designs and artworks!
