ok, so just so yall now, this is where cutie comes into play! yknow this guy

anyways, the main plot of the au is that when gman gave Gordon his arm back he wasn't able to find the og arm so they just. made one from scratch with his powers.

the arm successfully latched onto Gordon and worked but with some unwanted effects. at first, it was just it jerking around and shifting in weird ways, but gman could control it and keep it at bay but things get more intense because PLOT

soon the arm gets more and more attached to Gordon to the point where gman can't do anything anymore, but that's not all. you see the arm works less as an arm and was unintentionally made to act like a parasite, but this parasite? oh yeah, it's self-aware and the more it gains access to Gordon's body the more it starts to become conscious and make its own decisions.

then things escalate, and when Gordon is caught off guard and tired cutie briefly takes control of the body while Gordon is sorta pushed back to the back of the mind. cutie celebrates this victory for a moment before Gordon starts to fight back against cutie and a sort of mental tug of war starts and in the end, they end up in a tie which just means they pass out.

the science team rushes over to comfort and take care of Gordon while he recovers from cutie taking control. and through that Gordon is really scared of sleeping or having their guard lowered because being in an off guard and unconscious mindset is basically an open invitation for cutie to possess him.

cutie and Gordon communicate things for a while and slowly gain enough trust for Gordon to fall asleep and let cutie take control for the night. eventually, they work things out and try to make a routine for each other which is: Gordon takes control during the day getting work and ofter important stuff done while cutie takes control over for the night and does whatever, while Gordon gets some sleep (forgot to mention, Gordon is able to sleep in the back of his mind while cutie takes control)

their appearances change depending on who is in control, but this is what cutie looks like when in control (the first sketch is old and more of a concept)
