yeah so i think i minishifted??? two incredibly strange "glitch in the matrix" type things happened to me. also the world is much more saturated colors wise. weird note, but it is.

#1: i have never in my life heard sailor song by gigi perez. all my music is pirated off youtube to an mp3 player, and has been since 2023. i miss a lot of music unless i actively seek it out and download it. i again. have NEVER. EVER. in my life heard sailor song. i listened to it for the first time yesterday - while scripting for my DCU DR and thought "wow this is so me and tim coded" (mainly because the intro reminds me of shifting). i scripted some more, and went to bed affirming that i've already shifted. guess what fucking showed up on my mp3 player today? SAILOR SONG BY GIGI PEREZ. this playlist i have. has always. ALWAYS. had 39 songs. i remember that because 39 is one of my favorite numbers. so imagine my suprise when today there's 40 when i boot up my player - and sailor song. which i have. never. EVER. heard until yesterday is the first song on shuffle? this isn't some "oops maybe you added it" - to add songs to my mp3 player requires me to download and hand tag new music. i. would've. remembered. "well maybe you downloaded it a while back and just never listened to it" - yeah okay maybe- problem is, the last time i downloaded for this genre/playlist was in late 2024. sailor song came out in 2025. so. minishift?

#2: i'm currently studying for AP tests - and as a part of this i've been slowly turning the AP world history content and exam description (basically the bible for each AP course) into a "must know" guide. it. AND I MUST STRESS THIS. WAS NOT. DONE. YESTERDAY. IT HAS BEEN A PROJECT I PUT ON HOLD FOR MONTHS WHILE FOCUSING ON OTHER THINGS. i'd completed up to unit 5ish. guess what happened today? oh yeah. it's literally done. nobody had access to it. i haven't touched it for weeks - and suddenly, yup, all the details from the CED are now in there instead of blank descriptions with a couple of vague notes. WHAT THE EVERLOVING FUCK???

my brain wants to justify this that i just forgot, or this or that or yada yada. and yeah sure. i am very good at being logical and rationalizing things.

but you wanna know what i actually think? what my subconscious knows? it's not that i'm close. i'm already there. it's just tipping me in the direction of realizing it.

i can feel it? i don't know how but i can feel that other reality? it's not a place i have to jump to. i'm already there. i'm realizing that now. and things like this make me realize how easy realizing is.
