Happy 9 year old birthday to my funny, sensitive, amazing girl who loves magic, jokes, farts, traditions and family.

You are earnest often, but you are at your most serious when describing an elaborate joke or story. Your sometimes very long winded stories (ilan style length) may sometimes be hard to follow, but you have the best laugh in the world which often comes at the end of them.

It’s been wonderful seeing how you’ve developed into yourself more this year. You know what you need and always have insights or suggestions for solutions during our family meetings or 1:1s.

One of my favorite parts of the past few months has been shabbat mornings with you. I love davaning and reading together - with a lot of shtuyot mixed in between before we finally walk to shul together.

This past year, you found isadora book series and started reading a bit for fun. It make me so happy to see that and I hope that’s something that continues growing and stays with you.

I love how excited you are about your birthday - specifically the family quiz. You’ve been planning it for weeks in anticipation for people you love celebrating you and guessing how much they really know you

I feel like for years you’ve been excited for this birthday and i’ve been dreading it - but i’m happy to be passing another milestone together
