Morkai would freeze and lose years off of his life. Like, big time. He knows he has temper issues, but he hates physical violence that is not in defense of one’s life. So he’d really blame himself for this one, even though it’s an accident. He hoarsely says “I’m sorry”, makes sure the MC is okay, then disappears from sight.

Straasa would be horrified too. He’d go 😱 and fuss over the MC, checking them over, apologizing profusely and asking what he can do to make it better. Then he stays glued to the MC’s side for the rest of the day if they allow him, pampering them. And when the MC is not looking, he looks at their cheek with near-terror in his eyes and self-loathing.

Daelynn freaks out as well, throwing herself at the MC and healing them in 0,1 seconds with enough power behind the spell to heal internal injuries lolol. She takes the MC’s hands in hers and apologizes till she’s hoarse, then stays at the MC’s side at all times. She peppers them with kisses and affection, trying to erase the bad memory from their mind. If only she could forget it too.

Eledwen is the one who surprisingly takes this the calmest of them all. She immediately asks if the MC is okay and apologizes, saying that she never meant to hurt her one and would have rathered take a hit herself than ever cause them any pain. She focuses even more from now on being aware where the MC is at all times.

Rafael glares. "Whatcha mean, 'see me blush'? I don't blush," he says sharply, blushing.

You smirk crookedly and shake your head, eyes on the tinge of his cheeks, the quiver of his mustache, the curling of his lips. Your own lips can't help but curl, but unlike his sneer, it's a fond smile that adorns them. "Have I ever told you how utterly adorable you are?"

His shoulders stiffen and Rafael looks slowly down. He stares at his mug, and just as you think he will ignore you completely, his quiet voice rings out. Low and husky and barely above a whisper. "Ya have," he says, and then dark eyes shine on yours. The bastard shakes his head, his hood swaying along, but it's in quiet intensity that he studies your face. "Often, actually."

You lick your lips, suddenly feeling warm yourself. You didn't expect him to call your bluff. "Well," you take a swing of your beer and shrug with one shoulder. "It's true."

He's silent, and then a quick hand tugs your hair. You gap, surprised, and your eyes widen at the smile he's giving you. "You're an idiot," he says, leaning away, but grinning still.

"You say that often too," you grin back.

Fiama thinks it's really romantic and hot—that's practically like saying MC belongs to her and only her and she's a sucker for that kind of thing. She likes to trace it with her fingers whenever MC and she are lying in bed.

Jonny is sort of shocked; of all the things he could've imagined, the thought of MC putting his name on their body never occurred to him. Then he smiles like a fool and starts to really consider getting one too.

Roach smirks, "Really?" then they laugh but not in a mean way; it sounds amused and fond. "You should show it to your mom and Livvy, I'm sure they'll love it."

Oh, Fin is definitely the first one up, no doubt in my mind, and they are definitely the one who most often fetches or cooks breakfast 😂😂😂

I imagine the usual sleeping positions areee: Mc and Aubre cuddling up to Fin's sides while Fin is on their back; spooning which shifts who is where often; also random singular sleeping positions but everyone has something touching someone else. Also Aubre managing to be spread eagle over both MC and Fin, or MC doing that.

Morkai would blearily move in and wrap himself around the MC, his sleep-drugged mind too fuzzy to register much beyond how content he is to be close again and how his heart feels full to bursting.

Straasa would wrap his limbs around the MC as closely as he could and bury his hand in their hair/cup the back of their head. Then he’d nuzzle against their neck and whisper “I love you...” against their skin before falling asleep again.

Daelynn would at first be distressed that she’s not entwined with the MC already, then she’d burrow against them, close, close, entwining their legs and pulling them tightly to her chest almost like a koala. Then would whisper in their ear “Never leave me...”
