for someone so deeply, desperately, derangedly obsessed with omori and who also shows this derangement through creating fan media I can’t bring myself to write fanfic abt it which honestly is such a testament to how good it is bc in my mind it’s such a complete and whole work that it doesn’t need any additions and I can’t think of a single way the story could be perfected like the characters live so rent free in my head but wholly in their canonical forms like for other games like genshin impact I’ve always felt the urge to remove them from their contexts, imagine them as More but in omori the canonical story and characters just Work so well that it feels almost wrong for me to imagine anything different

i think ive been too busy trying to just be a functional person that i forgot how much i enjoy being a fic writer so i am about to be so beyond insufferable after reading period ends. christmas is also my favorite holiday to exist on the face of this earth and i will probably flop all my finals which is depressing to think about but there is christmas music and there is joy and there are all the memories ive made and theres all the fics to write that will wait for when im ready to come back to it in full force

i honestly don’t know if it gets better but it does get easier if that’s any consolation at all

guys i have a wip fragment so fucking good (in my opinion) that it physically pains me not to have this fic finished just for that fucking fragment but i also cannot do anything about that bc i dont wanna finish that fic like it needs an unholy amount of work but also i love that fragment so,,,,,

just read a fic ending so good i honestly just need to go home no more writing nothing i could ever do could possibly top it nothing doing
