Megumi grins. “It’s Pocky Day, Cap. You’re supposed to share one like this.”

Before he can ask, she bites one end of the Pocky and leans in.

Alan stiffens. “…Share… how exactly?”

Megumi laughs softly. “Like this, Alan........don't look away now.”

ⓘ Megumi is not my version of MC in the story. I've created her to accompany MC since our poor girl hasn't got any female friends to talk to in Darkwick. (I might think of some Yuri content with them later on)

Rough draft of her first appearance:

Her first appearance was at the pit at daylight, disguised as a boy, with a low hood and baggy clothes. She easily slipped past the general students and into the underground pit, but her cover didn't last long. After a little commotion, she managed to strike some of them one on one, but when Leo quickly saw through her disguise and forced Sho to challenge her to a match, panic began to rise in her chest. Hyde had brought her midway into the year at Darkwick (lore still pending 😅) and had told her about the ghoul's dangerous powers. Just as they were about to bolt, Alan stepped in and shut the whole session down...///////

Close call...or so she thought. Leo wouldn't let it slide that easily, so once the place cleared off, Leo blocked her path and made her drop the act. Sho'd seen that face before, it was the transfer student Dante was taking about.

They're friends now, sparring each other now and then. When Hyde had heard about the commotion and called Megumi in, she urged him to let her in the pit sometimes and promised she'd be fine. Hyde, not wanting to get beaten up by a student, reluctantly allowed her to.

Megumi is a Savannah cat, they are adventurous, bold, and courageous. She might seem wild and bold on the outside, but she's shy and affectionate inside. Savannah cats are known for their leopard-like spots and excellent athletic nature, just like how Megumi is.

Alan is a German shepard, one of the most loyal and protective dog breeds. He's always watching out for the ones he cares about. Dogs and cats bond well together because dog's are protective and cat's are independent which balance each other out. That's exactly what makes Megumi and Alan a perfect pair.
