Merik for the ship! Also long time no see friendo B)
who is more likely to hurt the other? Erik is super sensitive about everything, and Meg can sometimes speak before she thinks, so…inadvertently, Meg.
who is emotionally stronger? Meg, like a million times over.
who is physically stronger? Erik, though Meg’s killer dance-calves shouldn’t be underestimated.
who is more likely to break a bone? This one’s hard, because on the one hand Meg’s a dancer with a high risk of injury, and Erik’s constantly doing acrobatic stuff all over the opera house…and they’re also both very graceful…I guess Meg by a smidge.
who knows best what to say to upset the other? Erik, but mostly in a teasing way, not a hurtful way.
who is most likely to apologise first after an argument? Erik, groveling and crying.
who treats who’s wounds more often? Erik, since Meg often has bruised and bloody feet from dancing. He’s very tender when helping her bandage up.
who is in constant need of comfort? Erik, although Meg rightly encourages him to get outside help from a therapist.
who gets more jealous? Erik. Meg’s got no time for this jealousy bullshit, but Erik’s always a seething mass of insecurity.
who’s most likely to walk out on the other? Oof. It really depends on the situation: if Erik is in one of his deeply self-loathing moods and feels like he’s not good enough for her, he’d be the one. Then again, if Meg senses he’s still got feelings for Christine, or that he’s not taking the steps to become a better person, she might get fed up with his nonsense and leave.
who will propose? Again, I see two differing scenarios here: I can see Erik leading her down a trail of candelabras and rose petals to a ring box inside the boat; and I can also see Meg blurting out in the middle of nowhere: “Hey, why don’t we get hitched??”
who has the most difficult parents? Currently? Meg, since Erik has no contact with his (who might be dead). And we all know that while Madame Giry adores Meg with all the fierceness of a mama bear, she is an exacting, strict type.
who initiates hand-holding when they’re out in public? Meg, of course. Erik needs this, since he’s always a bit nervous out and about in a crowd.
who comes up for the other all the time? Meg for Erik. He’s an obsessive type after all, and Meg is pretty darn great.
who hogs the blankets? Miss Meg. She makes up for it by cuddling extra hard.
who gets more sad? Yeah, we all know the answer here. Erik.
who is better at cheering the other up? Again, we just know: Meg.
who’s the one that playfully slaps the other all the time after they make silly jokes? Meg, and Erik loves it. He loves how sometimes she laughs so hard she snorts.
who is more streetwise? Erik. Meg has spent most of her life inside the opera house after all, while before he became the Phantom Erik was rather a globe-trotter.
who is more wise? Oh Meg, definitely. It surprises Erik how old a soul she has, when she has such childlike candor and mannerisms.
who’s the shyest? I guess technically Erik, since he’s definitely not a people person. I don’t know if I’d call it shyness, though…more just old-fashioned antisocial misanthropy.
who boasts about the other more? Erik. Not just about her dancing prowess and fame, but her compassion and spirit. He’s such a sap.
who sits on who’s lap? Meg. If Erik tried, it would basically go like this:
