Gosh I started thinking. A bunch of thoughts and I was wondering:
Has anyone done an Exile!Tommy and Eragon crossover? Tommy finds an egg, hides it from Dream, Dream gets too close to the hiding spot for the egg one day while blowing up Tommy’s stuff so he books it, runs away and the egg eventually hatches for him. They both grow up to be big n strong and maybe not well-adjusted, but better. Tommy gets someone who can protect him and will stand by him no matter what, and can live his life happily
I’m just a sucker for giving him comfort, he needs some help during my favorite arc

The way I’m just so in love with the cultural differences in your arctic prince Fundy fic, and how Dream needs to get slapped upside the head before he figures out that “oh hey, maybe being nice would actually make people like me and make my life easier”. I’m so so so so glad you like em! I took @tissue-4-my-issues original concept that focused on Fundy as the heir to the Antartic Empire since Wilbur sent him back when the war on L’Manberg started and I just... went ham on world-building with her.
I haven’t drawn a map of the continent yet only because my wrists have been all mad at me so I’ve had to rest but the amount of notes I have on how to intertwine each nation’s language, believes, culture, politics and economics is not small XD
Helps a ton I’ve been bouncing back and forth ideas with Tissue herself! It has been a really fun exercise and I’m super glad you appreciate the cultural differences <3

I just binged off-world vacations and I am. Absolutely speechless I didn’t know hermit!fundy was a thing I needed until last night at 5 am. Am I obsessed with how Dream thinks/acts vs how everyone perceived him? Absolutely. Am I still going to want Fundy to kick his ass for making him feel bad? Hell yeah. Also kind of obsessed with Dream going to Hermitcraft and just being blown away by an actually good admin like X, and a functioning server where everyone is friends. Idk, I’m just thinking many thoughts here today :D

I started thinking of Hermit! Fundy since his stream with Iskall and then I saw Hermit! Tommy sky rocket in popularity in the hc x dsmp tag and of course it did!!
Hermits extending compassion and comfort to traumatized people from dsmp is an amazing concept because hermits provide comfort for many of us!
That + the fundywastaken wedding just made me realize Fundy had such a bad time in dsmp the only way for him to be better was for him to leave and so BOOM! Hermit!Fundy it is!
And I’m glad you find the way I write Dre interesting. It has been a challenge making him more grey so I can actually work with him instead of him being anime villain ‘evil for evil’s sake’ and I always get super motivated when people let me know is working, even if they still hate his guts.

Yesyesyesyes!!!!! I’m not about to become a Dream apologist anytime soon (partially because I’m so behind on the lore I’m literally at the pet war *sobs*) but by golly do I love a good and well-written possible redemption arc. I just want Fundy to be happy ;-;

In terms of DSMP.... belive me... the further you go down the line the more difficult it gets to be a Dream apologist. So much so I just had to select a point to break Dream off from his canon characterization, otherwise dude would just be vantablack black in the morality grey scale and even if that is fun to write I find it more fun to have him be more grey.
And I too wish Fundy is happy. That’s why the whole fic exist so he gets to talk to nice people and have fun
