Gigatron: of all the places for him to end up, Gigatron thinks this Academy is good enough for now. He’s going to do great things one day, be well-known and worshipped, and the sort of opportunities he can get in this school will be a nice stepping stone towards his future throne. Right now the only problem is dealing with all the idiots and lowlifes around him. His roommates are tolerable on a good day, at least, and half the teachers are acceptable, but the most irritating one of them all isn’t even part of the Academy. That terrible little reporter Rewind, always chasing after the latest mishap, following every movement of those tacky “heroes”. He hates watching the factions get special treatment just because they’re tall and strong. Just a few doors down from his room is another student he particularly dislikes, who agrees with precisely none of his own values, goals, or opinions. But with the help of his new friend Megajet, maybe he can teach Megatron the correct way of looking at things....
Megajet: having almost been prevented from getting into the Academy in the first place, Megajet has it out for anybody who plans to get in her way. She burns with anger at the way younglings like her are puppeted and pushed neatly into certain paths, never giving them a chance to chase their ambitions and truly shine. Of course, she doesn’t so much mind this happening to other kids, just her. It’s one of the reasons she dislikes that idiot Fort Max so much. Why should he prevent her from furthering her own agenda just because it could “get everybody else in trouble” or something? She thought she might get along with a certain punk rebel, but it turns out Megatron just wants anarchy for the greater good, which really doesn’t help her right now. Recently, she met Gigatron, and it seems the two of them might benefit from working together...
Overlord: when a poorly timed experiment by Ariel exposes Gigatron and Megajet to the Enigma of Combination, the two of them gain a portion of its power and fuse into Overlord, a shrewd malicious brute with an ego too big for his oversized frame. He wears both the Elite Guard brand and the Decepticon brand in an odd medley of values, but he eagerly wails on heroes from any faction. Or, he would, if he didn’t have this frustrating blind spot when it comes to any attempt at violence against the Elite Guard. He was mostly looking to have some fun with Rewind, Fort Max, and Megatron, but now he must figure out a way to destroy Elita 1. After all, it’s her relic, she basically created him, didn’t she? And unlike every other threat the heroes have yet faced, Overlord is not evil because of an overpowering and corrupted relic, rather, he exists to do violence, and he does it very, very well.
fun fact that wip of him i shared earlier was my 666th post. coincidence??? i think NOT
