Hey! Sorry for the quiet lately, I’ve been hard at work at some cool stuff - including formatting MeGa Knights into a zine! This thing is almost 50 pages thick, and despite the difficulty printing and binding, it feels really cool to be able to physically flip through all the drawings I did between those few months. If there’s interest, I might give away a copy or two along with a charm!

(I might also make a holiday interlude comic but don’t count on that -cOUGHS-)

I personally acknowledge both original game canon (ambiguous-age Kirby) and anime canon (baby-ish Kirby). In the setting/universe of MeGa, Kirby is considered a young adult (over age of majority) and there is still a significant age difference between him and Dedede, as far as relativity goes. Kirby is also aro/ace and despite being married to Dedede in story, has a generally platonic relationship with him.

I’ve tried my best to be mindful of existing canons and general community feel while developing these dynamics, but if you feel discomfort about this particular K/DDD anyway, I respect that. Starting in Vol. 2, comics featuring this ship will be tagged #kxddd. If you have a blacklist active with this tag, you won’t see it on your dash, but it will still be visible on the blog and RSS feed.
