#335 Baby - Though they are typically lone hunters, Zangoose live in social groups where they aid each other in protecting their eggs from predators, as well as raising and teaching their young. Zangoose pups typically stick to one adult after hatching, who acts as their mentor and protector for a few months, until the pup can hunt and protect itself. Baby Zangoose are born with small claws that grow in quickly as they age, as well as an inquisitive personality. With lightning fast reflexes and a thick hide, even young Zangoose can tangle with venomous snake Pokemon just fine - especially Seviper, which are natural rivals for Zangoose and predators of their eggs. Though adult Zangoose are capable of rising to a bipedal stance in a fight, Zangoose pups lack the balance and strength to do so until they're older, and fight on all fours. Even as youths, they have a ferocious attitude in battle.
Named: Zantyke - Zangoose
#335 Mega: Though Zangoose are immune to their venom, countless fights with Seviper has left trace amounts of poison in their body. When exposed to Zangoosite and paired with a Trainer with a Mega Stone, the poison in their system is magnified by Mega Energy, granting them a partial Poison-type. Stronger and bulkier than their base stage, Mega Zangoose have also developed poison glands that exude a stream of poison through their claws, making their already powerful swipes even more lethal.
