Wait Your Turn + [Mega King]
The library was beginning to fill up.
Over the summer it had been blessedly quiet, for the most part. Of course, there were students taking summer classes (like the little brunette who was here almost without fail whenever Meg was--someone Ninsun said they needed to keep an eye on, for whatever reason) and the nerds who didn’t know any other place to hang out on campus besides the library (there had been a twitchy looking boy Ninsun had also taken an interest in, no wonder she was so happy here, this place was crawling with intrigue, apparently.)
The students were few and far between, but now they were starting to fill in the gaps, like a slowly rising tide.
Which was annoying because Megara liked the library. It was a beautiful and peaceful. Working in an office was still weird to her. Though, she was wishing she’d brought her books to her office today because there was some man standing. Staring at her. Oh sure, he was a few feet away, but Meg could always tell when some man was staring at her.
She let the book she’d been reading (tome, really, more than a book) clunk to the table again loudly.
“Are you waiting for an invitation? What do you want?” she finally asked, fixing him with a glare, so he couldn’t pretend as if she was talking to someone else.
