“Meg, I have much to confess to you,” Paislee said, biting her lip as she sat across from her dearest friend in the living room. She was nervous to bring up all of the Harold interactions, but she knew her head was not going to be on straight until she did. “Harold keeps....well, he keeps trying to win me back. He showed up in front of our apartment and my job and I just...I don’t know what to do. I want to just ignore him and keep moving forward, but it’s so hard when he is right there telling me he loves me and that he wants a second chance and...this is all a big mess, I’m afraid.” She looked to Meg for guidance and the the truth. If anyone was more honest than Meg was she would like to get to know them for some clarity since all her life she has been surrounded by liars. “What should I do? I’m desperate!”

ken had been at the faux ghost for a little bit now. he had drank enough to dance, he had danced until his feet hurt, and now he was going back to get himself another round of drinks for himself. sadly, no one was really catching his eye, which was a shame because he had a lot to let out. work was frustrating, barbie wasn’t home, and so he was trying his best to work his issues out in a different way that wouldn’t get him into too much trouble (hopefully). 

and then he spotted her. she stood out because she didn’t want to stand out and it was clear by one glance that he ate men like him as a snack. she looked so in control and so scary in a way that made him weak in his knees. nothing got him going like a strong woman. so he sauntered up to her, took the empty seat, and flashed a smile. he didn’t care if she was going to eat him alive in that moment. he would be happily giving himself over to her if she would allow it. “can i get you a drink? cigarette?”
