#marchmeetthemaker today is #mostdifficultmake. There have been many! This angel from Highgate Cemetery however was very challenging as I had a certain idea about how I wanted it to look, the idea was the green silk background would show through all parts of the embroidery to give the impression of the moss on the statue. So I had to leave space in the embroidery for that to happen but work enough stitches for the design to be detailed enough.
