📕 STORY TIME 📚 First and Foremost, God is good. You may want to sit for this one. About one month ago, Ignite got lit (literally). We had a grace fire from cleaning towels that combusted overnight. In the early morning hours of that particular day, I walked into the cafe of smoke, a flood, and a smothered burning flame. I ended up with burnt walls, flooded floors, a lingering smoke smell, and thousands of $$$$ of damage. My life of being an entrepreneur. :) This being just our second year in business hurt a lot. I call this a GRACE fire because where the fire began was underneath a water line, the water line that melted the fire took out the fire preventing it from taking out the entire cafe. If the fire were to be anywhere else, it would’ve been the end of Ignite. Just like that, all of this could’ve ended. I am blessed and grateful for this opportunity to share my purpose I have in this community and for Ignite. When each of you come in and support Ignite, it’s a direct contribution to the vision I have. Whether it’s a $2 donut or a cup of coffee or a several thousand $$$$ order I sincerely am grateful for you. For me it’s not about the money, that’s just the fuel needed to continue this journey. It’s about the interactions, and the impacts that you have on us and on the ones we have on you. I want this business to be a beacon of joy and love. That being said, I must be transparent on the highs and lows of life. Being an entrepreneur and a newly wed is hard. I am amazed by my support from you all and especially my wife (@shannykmc ) she has kept me calm and has helped me in so many ways. I share this because I’m human and we all can relate in challenges. I’ve made it to where I am by being vulnerable, asking for help, and staying persistent on this pursuit to wherever God takes me. If you made it this far, due to remodeling/repairs we will be closed Thursday, February 23rd. There also may be another day or two that we will need to be shut down to get more internal work done.
