Random thing I just remembered
When I was 18 or so, I was having a conversation with some friends about sci-fi stories and someone told me they’ve read a story, whose writer they couldn’t remember (they said “I can’t remember but I think it was Lovecraft or something”, which is highly unlikely, even if I haven’t read that much Lovecraft:P) So, the main story was: guy tries to cut some toilet paper and it’s not cut on the perforated line. Tries that again and the same thing happens every time. He gets curious and researches. He eventually comes up with a substance made by the “bits of void” of the perforated line of the toilet paper and that substance is the BEST adhesive in the whole universe. Ta-daaaa! I have no idea what that thing is or whether my friend was making this up, but I hope you enjoyed that. If you know what it is, PLEASE do let me know.
