do you visualise that specific warning beeping noise vans/trucks do when they go in reverse?

yeah, well…

when i, for some reason, need to go in reverse/backwards i also do those beeping sounds - though they tend to be more meeps, really - until i can go back forward…

for example: my current bed is fairly high and it generally is easier to get off it backwards. so i’ll often shuffle backwards on my knees (all along doing the meeping) until i reach the edge then one leg backwards to reach my slippers, then the next, then yay! manoeuvre done without incident!

and yes, there are incidents… and last time was quite funny: instead of (as you’d think) stopping to meep my way back, when i suddenly slipped and lost my balance (as i’m wont to do), the meeping did not, indeed, stop. rather, it went higher in pitch and ended sounding kinda like this: meeeeEEEEEP! while i whirlwind my arms and manage to catch myself against the wall. fun times.

i also do it when the pup is in the way and i can’t go around him, so decided to just shuffle backwards and wait for him to move…

i try to avoid doing it when around people/outside, but i still do it in my head, so sometimes it slips out (though thankfully more as a kind of humming in those cases, so i don’t look like a complete dafty).

anyone else does this…? no? just me then? shame…
