There are days in which I feel like hiding from the world. But then I’m reminded those days aren’t that scary anymore—now that I have you. After day 20, Jen had to physically pick me off the floor because I honestly did not and could not fathom going on for even one more minute, let alone one more day. I didn’t have the strength to decide if I was hungry or to even physically move my body. I have never had to have someone physically and emotionally pick me up again and again— until now. I will never be able to express my gratitude, I don’t think anyone in my position ever could. 25 fucking days clean, and I will say things are starting to feel a bit easier. 19 and 1/2 days without narcotic drugs. What does almost 20 days feel like? I’ve been angry. No one can do anything right, nor is anything good enough, and that’s including myself. This results in walking out of doctors appointments mid session because they either can’t or won’t support me through this in the ways I need to get through this. In realizing that, I became silent and stared to feel completely alone. In the silence, I started to loose myself. Upon consciously realizing that one of these times I may never be able to ‘find Cayden’ again, I had officially hit my breaking point...
