Move with me...
"Strike!" The call echoed off the stone and moss covered walls of the small training area in Darnassus. A class of eleven Kaldorei, and one human did their greatest to keep with the comman, lashing out with a smooth strike. "Medeisi! You are not striking fully!" The female instructor approached the human, barking at the mage in Darnassian. Medeisi responded as politely as she could, sweat lining her brow. "I am striking Ma'am. How may I strike better?" The instructor huffed and corrected her posture, and slowly walked her through a strike. When Medeisi tried again, she failed in the eyes of the instructor once more. She sighed and shook her head, pointing to a private mat. "Stand there and practice. One hundred strikes should teach you how to not fail in this task." Medeisi bowed to her instructor and went to the spot, her body repeating from memory... Strike, retract, guard, strike again... It was almost meditation worthy for her. She closed her eyes as she continued to strike, thinking back on past events. She'd been training here with the Elves for a few hours every morning... A part of her therapy to keep sober. If she is busy in the mornings, then she will be far safer from falling once more. It had its other benefits though... Her body had began to become far more toned, and as much as this pleased her for when she'd show off her midrift, it paled compared to how it helped her courage and fighting abilities. The memory of her decapitating the forsaken rushed to her mind, a slight grin as she continued her strikes. She had felt amazing when she ended the abominations life... It felt better then being safe and alone in a tower. She felt her strikes straighten out, and gain a certain precision to them... Her instructor slowly counted out her strikes for her, she was up to thirty six--- well thirty seven now... Strike... Retract... Defend... Strike... The memories of her time spent with Rosilyn began to flirt across her mind, teasing her with images of time the two had spent alone. She grinned sharply, and she felt her muscles renew somewhat from their soreness. She'd been enjoying company with Rosilyn often now... And every day spent with her was better then the last. She was a kind woman, caring in every regards... And Medeisi placed every ounce of her trust in her. Strike... Retract... Defend... Strike... The instructor raised her voice as she hit eighty, she was close to finishing now. Her strikes began to feel like part of her, as natural to her as breathing now. She needed to find a way to bring this style into her combat magics... A way that she could be someone to take the charge and keep the focus on her. She did not wish to repeat watching Rosilyn, Waggner, or any of the other being harmed again. She lashed out with her final strike as her instructer reached one hundred. Slowly she walked to Medeisi as the mage kept her eyes closed and exhaled. The elf's hands clasped over Medeisi's and she opened her eyes blinkig. "Calm my Wolf blooded sister." Medeisi's eyes stared in disbelief at the claw like shape her hands had formed, not fully having changed... Yet not fully human. It seemed caught in a limbo, and it should have hurt... Naturally, the pain began to come slowly and she began cursing before her skin and bone slid back into its natural positions. "That was... Disturbing." Her mouth felt dry as she spoke, looking to her Instructor. The elf simply shrugged and smiled. "Perhaps it is a sign... That two need to become one?" Medeisi looked at her hands and frowned before shaking her head and standing. "And more lesson's Shando?" The instructor sighed and waved her away. "No... Go flirt with your doomsday magic." Medeisi smirked as she picked up her robes. "Actually... Its time for my Violin lessons. Nice try though."
