I’ve been rewatching Mech-X4 lately. Actually I’m on my 2nd rewatch this month, I’m planning a project I’ll never finish that analyzes the show.
I think we need to realize that Mark definitely had one of the strongest character arcs in the show. While he’s not my personal favorite character, his character arc/character development was one of the best.
I'm super curious! How many of you scrolling found Mech X-4 through Disney Plus? I love the activity my posts have been getting lately : )

Mech-X4 Headcanons
Spyder has a criminal record. It’s nothing too serious, just a break-in here and there. He’s never actually stolen anything, he just loves the thrill of it.
That little girl Ryan cured in Versus the Thirty is a Technopath. The lack of technology caused her powers to be bottled up and the pressure of it made her sick, not an allergy to technological devices. Now that she’s cured, maybe connecting with the cell phones in the well will awaken that power.
Randall keeps that bucket of phones charged at all times to keep his people up-to-date on the outside world and their families. He also keeps them charged due to the hope that the Thirty will be able to use them again one day.
Spyder doesn’t have a great life at home. That’s why he values his relationships with his friends so much, because they’re practically all he has.
Harper’s original plan in the first season (ridding the world of humans to create a new, better world) started as a coverup. He was actually experimenting with the ooze in hopes of finding his long lost brother (Traeger), but he became obsessed with the power the ooze held and went a little crazy.
Since being the pilot of Mech-X4, Ryan has developed a dark side to his intentions of protecting the ones he loves. He and Harper parallel in this sense.
Spyder likes to hangout with Veracity when she works on inventions. He doesn’t really know what she’s doing, but he’ll hand over a screwdriver or hot glue a wire if needed.Â
