Yo, so I start university this September *pause for applause* and I also got a tumblr. On this tumblr, I found many many study aesthetic accounts. I followed almost all of them even though my notes are disgusting and I’m terrible at organization. Here, I will show MY version of my aestheticc notes and things while I attempt to get a Mechanical Engineering degree :-).

Regarding my visit @legohouse yesterday. I spoke to one of the employees regarding the production process for the LEGO-blocks. She didnt know about the process so gave her a short intro to injection molding. I have found this good illustration for injection molding. Injection moulding involves molten plastic flowing into a gap between a core and cavity. There are many variables in which this can be done including gate types, gate opening sequences and temperature. It is best to design a tool for easy demoulding by ensuring the part doesn’t stick to the core or cavity depending on which it is ejected from.
