Tezj and his family.
Tezj and his wife Atl, are fostering Twister the yeyedje and raising xer along with their own little monkey, Tellein. The placement is very unusual, but has been succesful so far. Tezj, Tellein and Atl are Brackish, humans with a unique Sha'viðaar-Nadiran cultural identity.

A Sha'viðaar from the MechCom setting, a sci-fi skirmish game by a Dutch designer.
Read more about MechCom here:
Housefish are amphibious cousins to shiþolme, a domesticated 'dog' equivalent. They are intelligent but stubborn animals.
Bristly housefish are a hard working stock protection and allround farm breed. They are historically used in seagrass meadows and kelp woods where meat animals would graze. They are independent and fiercely loyal to their flock. They use their big front flippers to dig trenches, pat and shove their charges. Like all housefish, they have significant electrogeneration in their jaws but a reduced lateral line system.
They're slow on land and can't stay out for long, but they can dash across mud plains or otherwise cross land barriers.
