The Ahmed Mater exhibit on Mecca has me reliving my college memories slaving over Arabic exams and research papers on the Middle East. The faith, culture, devotion, it is so effortlessly displayed in his work. Awe-inspiring. The project took nearly ten years to complete, the journey is mesmerizing 🌄🕋✨ In celebrating the differences of other cultures, we are honoring the unique capacity that we have as humans to create, endlessly. I am forever in awe of this world, us beings, this soil we walk across everyday. Grateful to witness this homage to beauty and truth.
