the weather’s been super erratic this year so the tiredness is just ur body’s doing its best to adjust - Treat urself to some popsicles and nice, cool showers too. THESE ARE CALLED THE LAZY DAYS OF SUMMER FOR A REASON (be kind 2urself and take care!)
YEAH the weather around here is typically kind of all over the place... i don’t remember being this whooped this early in the year last year, but i will make it through the summer yet >8V and keep as cool as I can. I work outside, tho, so I by default spend most of my week out under the sun *shakes fist at it*
BWUH THANKS GUYS FOR YUR CONCERNS AND STUFF i appreciate it ;u;/

meatfart : Most people ask about getting a plushie, not process. ^^; So I very much appreciate the questions! Well, I pattern out via lots of drawing and trial an error with new pieces. For rounded pieces I prefer the bend of paper itself to sort of origami it beforehand. I have admittedly been sewing for the better part of 18-19 years at this point and so it's much easier for me to visualize from refs and know what my fabric is capable of. It all comes with practice. The best brands for sewing machines are Bernina, Janome and Huskys are alright (though, my last one's tension got messed up because of how much sewing I do). And I use poly thread, but I only buy Guterman because it makes less fuzz (and keeps the inside of a machine in better working order) than cheaper brands like Coats & Clark. Funny story about learning the ladder stitch. I took a home ec class when I was 14 and our teacher had us make these country pumpkins out of calico cottons. It had 8 wedges that each needed to be stuffed and then ladder stitched closed. I swore when I finished it never again. Hahaha. Look at me now! xD

meatfart: Too fun of a question not to publicly answer! I used to use plain copier paper for my patterns, but paper doesn't hold up too well being used over and over. I have recently been using 65lb card stock. And all my patterns have base pieces which I cut out of 100lb card stock to be extra durable. I organize the bits and pieces that make each weeformer into their particular character in envelopes. So far that's been the best way for me to keep organized. I have a Necchi but it's actually a rebranded Janome Memory Craft 6300. I bought it November 2013, and it's been a dream to sew with. Before that I was using a Husqvarna that I was given by my mother in 1996. Quality machines do make it easier to sew. Janome is a great brand with lots of bells and whistles for the price. Thanks for the fun question!
